3. I'm still not sure about using a design firm in another state.There is nothing to lose. Except for very large sites, Black Mountain Design does not require any money upfront. You only pay when your site is complete and you are satisfied with it.

4. How much will it cost? Are there any hidden costs? There are three main costs associated with the average web site:

A.) The main cost is the design cost. This varies quite a lot depending on the scope and size of the site. A simple web site may cost as little as $100. A large multi-function web site may cost $1,000 or more. The average price for a web site for a small or medium-sized business designed by Black Mountain Web Design is about $400-$500. A web site in this price range will typically have approximately 4-6 pages, 5-10 pictures, several paragraphs of text per page, and email links. For most web sites this will cost $7.95 - $19.95 a month depending on various options.

5. How will I have my site maintained once it is up? We can maintain your site for you. We charge $35 an hour to make changes to your web site once it is up an running. Regular maintenance rarely takes more than an hour or two. If your site will require a lot of maintenance, special rates can be negotiated.

6. I already have a site, but I'm not happy with it. We can help. We can either rework your existing site or totally redesign it.

7. How do I get my site listed in the search engines? First, we will design your web site to be "search engine friendly." Then we suggest manually submitting them to the search engines, which is one of our very popular services.
